W Rome

W Rome occupies two restored 19th-century palazzi on Via Liguria, a minute from Via Veneto and a short walk from the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and the Borghese Gardens. Behind the historic facade the interiors are a deliberately bold, contemporary counterpoint: 162 rooms and suites, including WOW and E-WOW suites with terraces over the rooftops. For corporate programmes the hotel works best as a boutique base rather than a large conference venue. Two studio meeting rooms — Studio L (40 sqm) and Studio M (21 sqm) — handle breakouts, interview rooms and small board sessions for 8 to 30 people, supported by a 36 sqm pre-function area for registration and coffee. Larger receptions and dinners move into the hotel's social spaces: Giano Restaurant by Ciccio Sultano, the Giardino Clandestino courtyard and Otto Rooftop with its bar, terrace and Wet Deck pool. That mix makes W Rome a strong fit for senior-level roadshows, small investor programmes and incentive groups taking a full or partial buy-out of the bedrooms, with meetings run out of the studios and evening entertaining on the roof.
