Landmark Second Empire hotel opposite the Opéra Garnier with 2,000 sqm of event space, 13 conference-centre meeting rooms and up to 1,200 delegates.
Inaugurated in 1862 and standing directly opposite the Opéra Garnier, InterContinental Paris Le Grand is the largest luxury conference hotel in central Paris — and one of the few properties in the city able to run a 500-delegate plenary and a full 1-on-1 meeting marathon under one roof.
Over 2,000 sqm of reception space is arranged across three levels. The listed Salon Opéra (450 sqm, 24 x 21 m, 14 m ceiling height) seats 600 theatre-style or 500 for banquet dining beneath its stained-glass dome, and connects through Salon Ravel and La Verrière to the Lobby for combined cocktail receptions of up to 1,200 guests. On the lower ground floor, Salon Berlioz (450 sqm) takes 500 theatre or 300 classroom, and divides with Bizet and Gounod for breakouts.
The dedicated Opéra Conference Centre on the first floor holds 13 further meeting rooms — Lulli, Chopin, Mozart, Delibes, Debussy, Messager, Charpentier, Massenet and others, from a 10-seat boardroom in Salon Adagio up to 172 theatre in Lulli — making it a natural fit for investment banking conferences and corporate access days that need many simultaneous private rooms adjacent to the plenary.
Every room carries the latest AV, and the Salon Berlioz TV studio (10 x 3 m curved LED screen) supports hybrid broadcast sessions. 458 rooms and suites, including 5 signature suites, provide the residential bedroom block, with the legendary Café de la Paix, La Verrière and a wellness and fitness area on site.
