Hyatt Regency Hesperia Madrid sits on Paseo de la Castellana in Chamberí, on the axis that links Madrid's financial district with the museum mile. The hotel opened as the Hesperia Madrid in 2000, was fully renovated in 2019 and rebranded that October as the Hyatt Regency brand's debut in Spain, keeping the Hesperia name alongside it. There are 169 guest rooms and suites, with the top-floor suites opening onto private terraces with hot tubs. Dining is a genuine draw: the hotel was home to the two-Michelin-star Santceloni for two decades and now houses chef Dani García's Leña steakhouse and the two-Michelin-star Smoked Room, alongside the all-day La Manzana restaurant and the Mery and Bárbola cocktail bars. Event space runs across three levels. The Tàpies ballroom on the lower mezzanine is the largest room at 419 sqm with a 3.2m ceiling, taking 350 theatre, 250 for dinner and 400 for a reception - combined with its own 149 sqm foyer it stretches to 568 sqm and 500 for standing receptions. It divides into Tàpies 1 and 2. On the first floor, the 259 sqm Saura splits into two and handles 220 theatre or 180 for dinner, supported by the 212 sqm Foyer Convenciones, the divisible 77 sqm Chillida and the Miró, Picasso and Dalí boardrooms for small meetings. Two meeting suites (903 and 904) and La Manzana add character space for private dinners of up to 200 and receptions of 250. The combination of a divisible ballroom, a large foyer, several small syndicate rooms and bedrooms in the same building makes it a straightforward fit for roadshows, speed-dating conference formats and residential board meetings in central Madrid.
